Chatime Menu Singapore Prices 2026

Chatime no longer operates in Singapore. The Taiwanese bubble tea giant (founded by La Kaffa International in 2005) ran around 60 outlets at its peak here before the local master franchisee rebranded every store to LiHO in April 2017 after a dispute with La Kaffa.

Chatime Menu

Chatime has not returned to Singapore under its own name since. Its Malaysia sister chain, Tealive (which also split from Chatime in 2017 under Bryan Loo’s Loob Holding), opened its first Singapore outlet at Changi Airport Terminal 3 in June 2025.

Sugar and Ice Customisation (Historical)

Chatime Singapore let customers set sugar at 0%, 30%, 50%, 70% and 100% and ice at no ice, less ice, half ice, standard ice or extra ice. Hot versions were available for most milk and pure teas. The default sugar was 100% unless requested otherwise. Chatime Taiwan and Malaysia still follow the same customisation grid today.

Happy Hour at Chatime Singapore

Not applicable while Chatime is absent from Singapore. During its 2010 to 2017 run, Chatime did not operate a daily happy hour; instead it ran weekday afternoon student bundles and seasonal 1-for-1 campaigns through its mobile app and in-store flyers.

Chatime App and Tea Alliance Loyalty (Historical)

At its peak, Chatime Singapore ran the Tea Alliance loyalty programme with a stamp card: every 10 drinks earned a free standard cup, with birthday month bonuses and limited-edition seasonal rewards. The mobile app launched later and tracked points digitally. Both the programme and the app shut down with the April 2017 rebrand; existing Tea Alliance points were migrated to LiHO’s loyalty programme at the time.

Where to Buy Chatime-Style Milk Tea in Singapore Now

Since Chatime is no longer in Singapore, these are the closest alternatives on the local scene today. LiHO is the direct successor (same stores, same operator as Chatime SG pre-2017), with 70+ outlets. Tealive opened at Changi Airport T3 in June 2025 and shares the same original recipes as Chatime from before the Taiwan split. KOI, Sharetea, HEYTEA, Playmade and R&B Tea also cover the classic Taiwanese milk tea range at comparable prices.

Payment Methods (Historical)

At its height, Chatime Singapore accepted cash, NETS, major credit and debit cards, and the Chatime Tea Alliance stamp card. Mobile wallets (GrabPay, FavePay) rolled out at larger outlets in the final year before rebrand. Delivery was initially via Deliveroo and later foodpanda.

Chatime Outlets in Singapore (Current Status)

There are no Chatime outlets in Singapore as of 2026. The last operating Chatime stores were in Bugis Junction, VivoCity, Causeway Point, Jurong Point, Westgate, 313 Somerset, Tampines Mall, NEX, ION Orchard, Clementi Mall, Novena Square, Marina Square, Suntec City and NUS, among roughly 60 outlets at the April 2017 peak. All became LiHO outlets that same month. If you spot a store calling itself Chatime in Singapore today, it is likely either a Tealive outlet, an unauthorised use of the name, or confusion with LiHO’s old branding.

Ordering Options (Historical)

Chatime Singapore took orders at the counter and via self-order kiosks at busier outlets. Mobile pre-ordering through the Chatime SG app came late in the brand’s run. Catering and bulk orders for parties, offices and schools were handled by individual outlets with 1 to 2 days’ notice. All of these channels moved over to LiHO at rebrand.

Is Chatime Halal in Singapore?

Not applicable, as Chatime does not operate in Singapore. The brand’s Chatime Malaysia outlets (now Tealive) carry JAKIM halal certification, and some overseas Chatime markets (UAE, Canada) are also halal-certified under their local authorities. If Chatime ever returns to Singapore, MUIS certification would need to be applied for separately, as JAKIM status does not transfer across borders. For now, LiHO is also not MUIS halal certified, so Muslim bubble tea drinkers in Singapore should treat both brands as non-halal.

Ingredients and Sourcing (Historical)

Chatime sources tea leaves from Taiwan (jasmine green, Assam black, high-mountain oolong) and uses La Kaffa International’s proprietary tea bag system for consistency across franchises. Tapioca pearls were cooked fresh in-store every few hours during Singapore operations. The classic milk tea range used non-dairy creamer; the Fresh Milk series used chilled fresh milk. These sourcing standards continue in Chatime’s Taiwan, Malaysia (as Tealive) and global operations today.

Allergens, Gluten and MSG

Common Chatime allergens include milk (fresh milk and non-dairy creamer), soy and tree nuts (taro, hazelnut, matcha with milk). Tapioca pearls are naturally gluten-free, but cross-contamination at the counter means Chatime cannot guarantee a gluten-free environment. Chatime states its drinks are MSG-free.

Vegetarian and Vegan Options at Chatime

The pure teas and fruit teas are vegan-friendly when ordered without milk, pudding or Yakult. For a plant-based milk tea, request an oatmilk upgrade where available (not offered in Chatime’s original Singapore run; standard on today’s Chatime Taiwan and Malaysia menus). Pearls (tapioca), aiyu jelly, grass jelly, coconut jelly and aloe vera are vegetarian. Pudding and mousse (cheese foam) contain dairy.
